China students perform well in England (24th Feb. 07)

A recent report in the English media finds that Chinese students are the best performing ethnic group in England. The Chinese students were found to be getting a pass rate of over 85% for national curriculum tests, a higher rate the 80% for native British students.

By the age of eleven ,Chinese students were found to be outperforming all other students and the success of Chinese students in English schools appears to comtinue through secondary schooling. The pass rates for Chinese students for GCSE level was also very high.
